Synopsis

This book deals with the translation of Polish colloquial expressions into Spanish in the form of subtitles. The source of the analysed examples is the work of Krzysztof Kieślowski, a prominent Polish director and screenwriter. The Decalogue series has been taken into account, and individual examples also come from films Three Colours. White, A Short Film About Killing and Amateur.
