Creativity and its potential for use of Roma pupils
Synopsis
Teachers are increasingly looking for specific ways to effectively develop students' creativity in learning. By deliberately proving the activity of pupils through tasks and situations of creative character, solving various problems using suitable methods and forms, the creation of thought stereotypes. The correct organization of the lesson emotionally encourages the pupil to form and express his / her own views. In order for the pupil to be creative, he must also be a teacher who, by appropriate motivation, raises the pupil to the desired performance. The more so when it comes to the teaching of Roma pupils who require individual help in teaching. The mentioned pupils have learning difficulties, vocabulary, ability to solve problems, are little self-sufficient and creative. Negatives that characterize the current Roma ethnicity include the growing tendency towards illiteracy of young Roma, declining language potential in the use of Slovak and Roma, poor motivation of children to education, parents' lack of positive education and education of their children.
