The essence of planning in the research process of the challenges and interdisciplinary safety character

The subject of the article is the essence of planning in the research process to-wards challenges and the interdisciplinary nature of security. In the first place, the focus was on determining the purpose of research, in order to present various approaches to the research process. In the following, three levels of cognition were characterized in scientific research, namely ontology, epistemology and methodology. These contents provided the basis for determining what the planning itself is and what are its principles and stages. Referring to the subject of methodological reflection of security, the last part presents network models, and in particular, focused on the method used to plan, organize and control the implementation of projects to which the research process can be included.
