MUSIC BRINGS PEOPLE TOGETHER – A PROJECT CARRIED OUT AT THE YOUTH EDUCATIONAL CENTER OF ORIONIST FATHERS IN WARSAW

The article describes a project in which the patriotic tradition meets modern means of expression. The presented project consisted in the creation of an intergenerational choir, consisting of seniors from the Daily Senior Citizen's Home and the students of the Youth Education Centre. The main idea of the project was patriotic education by promoting Polish patriotic song in a new form. The implementation of the project also showed that the time spent together by young people and seniors contributed to breaking down communication barriers between them, which created an atmosphere of mutual understanding and tolerance.
