Research of security sense – selected problems

In the text, the topic of researching the security sense was taken, with particular emphasis on the problem of its definition, which is the main part of the text. The theoretical aspects of creating an operational definition were discussed and its importance for the accuracy and reliability of research was emphasized. In addition, the essence of qualitative and quantitative research was discussed, as well as the issues related to sample selection and statistical description. In each part of the chapter, examples from the literature related to various aspects of research and measuring the sense of security were considered. The proposed directions for researchers to follow to increase the level of intersubjectivity and the quality of the research conducted were also indicated.
