IMAGES OF MASCULINITY IN THE WORK OF JAKOB ARJOUNI

The article is about male figures and models in Jakob Arjouni's work. It is easy to see in them an attachment to the traditional patterns of masculinity inspired by hard-boiled crime novels, a fact which is repeatedly shown on the characterological or linguistic level. It should be emphasized, that the themes of masculinity or the asymmetry of masculinity and femininity are not essential themes in Arjouni's work.
