Selected research issues on geopolitical, military and economic security of the Three Seas Initiative countries

The article describes selected research problems of geopolitical, military, and economic security of the Three Seas Initiative countries. The research issue is very wide due to the interdisciplinary nature of security science. The introduction presents basic information about the Three Seas Initiative, then it outlines the methodological assumptions for the research, in particular including the role of system analysis. Then, the objectives of the analysis are presented in individual security areas, i.e. geopolitical, military, and economic, in the region of the Three Seas Initiative, along with problematic situations. The last part of the chapter presents paradigms and theories of international research that can be applied in the process of studying the security issues of the Three Seas Initiative area.
