On the environmental racism category and the possibility of its practical application for analyzing the situation of indigenous peoples in the Russian Arctic
Synopsis
The main purpose of this chapter is to present the concept of environmental racism. This is a relatively new idea, trying to combine issues related to environmental pollution and ethnicity, which Polish researchers rarely refer to. Additionally, it can be successfully used in the field of security science. In addition to outlining the concept, an attempt is made to analyze the situation of indigenous peoples in the Russian Arctic in the context of environmental racism.
