Systemic research in security sciences

The article presents selected methodological issues related to contemporary research on system security. The specific features of development of systemic research are characterized in terms of the needs of security sciences. A general framework for researching the security of social and technical systems is presented. Additionally, the essence of the holistic-systemic paradigm as a contemporary civilization challenge is discussed.
