Changes in the scope of innovative activity of Polish enterprises in the years 2013–2017

The first part of this chapter provides an overview of the definitions and types of innovations presented in the literature. The second part analyzes the results of the GUS surveys conducted for three periods (2013-2015, 2014-2016, 2015-2017) of innovative activity of enterprises. The analysis took into account changes in the level of innovation of Polish industrial and service enterprises, implemented types of innovations, expenditure on innovative activities and sources of their financing.
