Polish municipalities as entities responsible for conducting social housing policy
Synopsis
Conducting a social housing policy in Poland is municipalities' own tasks. They fulfill their duties in that regard through a series of activities, including the construction and management of a municipal housing resource for people with the lowest incomes (directly) and medium incomes (through Social Housing Associations), conducting the appropriate rental policy and preventing homelessness. Unfortunately, the correct implementation of these tasks encounters many difficulties that negatively affect the ability to meet the housing needs of local communities.
