ROLE AND TASKS OF THE PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF POLAND AS A GUARANTEE OF STATE SECURITY
Synopsis
State security in the modern world is the result of a variety of correlated factors. Dynamically developing world is constantly creating new forms of threats. The article points to the determinants of security of the Republic of Poland in the 21st century and analyzes the regulations concerning the role of the President of the Republic of Poland as a guarantor of state security. Furthermore, an attempt has been made to create the proposals de lege ferenda which will contribute to improve Polish system of defense in this respect.
