Synopsis

The subject of the article is safety as an activity aimed at preventing the exposure of man and his environment to threats coming from the modern world. The essence of security is reflected in the policies implemented, in particular in economic policy. In everyday life, the terms safety and danger are often used, but both have many meanings to describe important areas of life. Safety is the object of effort and aspirations, the basis of correct human functioning. Lack of a sense of security makes us feel fear of losing the basics of everyday life, disintegration of the family, home, state, the possibility of illness, death. Speaking of threats, we identify their sources and forms of occurrence. The multiplicity
of threats causes disorganization of the security system. The challenge is to focus human activity on developing alternative systems that facilitate the functioning of individuals and society. Is the value of security not the most important thing? Are we fulfilling ourselves in the action and building foundations on which human existence is based and on which, despite the turmoil, we are able to prevent threats.
