CIVIL DEFENSE TRAINING – BETWEEN THEORY AND PRACTICE

Common training of the society in the field of effective counteracting of threats and coping with their occurrence is one of the most important tasks of the state security system. Civil defense fulfills an important role in the implementation of educational projects. It is one of the oldest entities performing tasks for civil protection. The purpose of the article is to describe the normative, organizational and substantive bases for conducting training and exercises among public administration employees and citizens, and to confront them with their practical dimension. This will allow conclusions to be drawn regarding the needs of possible modifications to this system.
