CONDITIONS OF THE FUNCTIONING OF THE MEDICAL RESCUE SYSTEM IN POLAND
Synopsis
The State Medical Rescue System in Poland is regulated by the Act on State Medical Rescue of 2006. Its multiple amendments testify to the dynamic development and improvement of the system aimed at providing assistance in conditions of threat to human health and life. The government administration bodies responsible for the efficient and effective functioning of the system are the minister in charge of health and the voivode. The system operates on the basis of voivodeship plans of system operation. The chapter presents the location of the National Medical Rescue Service in the rescue system in Poland with the description of the conditions for the functioning of the system elements.
