The social basis of the Russian media disinformation in Poland

Synopsis

The considered research problem is the analysis of the society in terms of social groups most susceptible to offensive disinformation activities, indication of their social and political consequences and presentation of counter-intelligence education measures. The first part of the work is a diagnosis of the contemporary condition of society, within the framework of the theory of science on politics and sociology, with particular emphasis on terms such as: mass society, disinformation, post-truths and post-modernity;. Then, analysing the content from the media, considered in the public discourse to represent pro-Russian set of views, as well as the work of practitioners and researchers, the main groups of views, narratives, messages supported by these media, which can be assessed as disinformative, will be presented. The last part — based on the analysis carried out I will focus on the presentation of social groups in Poland, which can be described as the target; of information impact, analysis of its consequences and counter-intelligence education.
