Elements of the psychosocial action in a contemporary hybrid conflict. Russian art of manipulation and propaganda

The collapse of the bipolar division of the world generated a number of challenges in the sphere of global security. There have been challenges that go beyond the catalog of commonly accepted threats of an international nature. This applies mainly to the nature of modern wars, which in the broadest sense go beyond the framework of classical armed conflicts. The main intention of the author is to show the importance of psychological influence in the contemporary hybrid conflict based on the use of such elements as manipulation and propaganda. The considerations presented in this article will be limited to the tools used by the Russian Federation.
