Requirements of the national security authority regarding protection of international classified information of NATO, EU, ESA in the Armed Forces of the Republic of Poland
Synopsis
The article uses empirical research methods and analyses the requirements of the na-tional security authority in the field of protection of classified information of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), the European Union (EU) and the European Space Agency (ESA) in the Armed Forces of the Republic of Poland. The systemic approach to the studied area re-quired the characteristics of the legal basis. The role and tasks of the National Security Authority as an institution responsible for supervision and functioning of the system of protection of inter-national classified information are presented. Issues related to the broadly understood security policy as the basis for having the ability to process international classified information within the territory of the Republic of Poland were considered. The paper proves that an important element in the protection of NATO, EU and ESA classified information is the procedural observance of the rules of handling international classified information, taking into account the physical, tech-nical and organizational security measures applied in accordance with the legal regulations in force in our country.
