Implementation of the idea of inclusion in penitentiary practice
Synopsis
Implementation of the inclusion principle assumes building a relationship between oneself and the local community as well as mutual help. Success depends on social involvement and the quality and frequency of relationships between society and prisoners, which provide prisoners with behavioral patterns in line with the standards. The implementation of the principle of inclusion in penitentiary practice is not limited only to formal and legal difficulties. It is conditioned by the organization of the rehabilitation process in a penitentiary institution and the involvement of the staff. The text presents selected criminal solutions that take into account the postulate of social inclusion, and against them the procedures and forms of resocialization used in the Polish prison system are discussed. They form a context for discussing the procedures and forms of resocialization used in the Polish prison system.
