The concern for a man in selected areas of social pedagogy – the most important challenges and research directions

The author of the publication points to the difficulties existing in the contemporary cultural context regarding the vision of man and society and the values promoted. These difficulties have their implications also in the area of pedagogy/upbringing. The aim of this article is to outline the problems, challenges and directions of research facing contemporary social pedagogy in the Polish context. In his considerations, the author uses the method of analysis, taking into account available Polish and foreign scientific literature.
