Education for charity as the basis of human learning in times of crises and changes. Application Zygmunt Bauman‘s conception of rethrotopy

This study presents a vision of pedagogical activities aimed at preparing a man for charity contained in altruistic behavior. Thanks to the development of this form of action, the whole person is harmoniously shaped. As such, it is a specific system of didactic-educational and socializing activities of the family, school, mass media, social organizations and associations serving the dissemination of ideas, values, knowledge, skills essential for the preservation of life, health, happiness, human development and the environment of his life. It is a long-term process of educational interactions aimed at awakening sensitivity to suffering in its immense emanations. t is a response to the challenges of the postmodern day with its apotheosis of individualism in its extreme narcissistic version, with the technicalization and atrophy of ties and progressive alienation. It is an expression of concern for elementary values and for shaping a new culture of integration. It is an indication of the way of changing interpersonal rela-tions. It involves preparing a man to live in society for the benefit of himself and others. Interchangeable terms are education for philanthropy, education for altruism.
