Comparative analysis of statistics on accidents at work for Poland and construction and mining industries – ratio analysis

The publication present research results of risk diversification of accidents at work, which developed on the basis of publication from the Central Statistical Office entitled "Accidents at Work". The study used the criteria of ratio analysis, which included selected indexes of accidents rate defining frequency, severity and risk of accidents. The work contains the results of comparative analysis of statistics of accidents rate for the years 2005-2015 in Poland and in construction and mining industries, including the value of indexes of accident frequency (total, fatal, serious), in relation to the number of persons employed, index of accident severity and index of accident risk.
