"Positive" olympics vs "negative" paralympics. Should we research only explicit attitudes?

Synopsis

The article presents the results of the study of explicit and implicit attitudes, attitude to sports events of paralympics and olympics. The Implicit Association Test (IAT) was used. The disclosed discrepancy between the two systems of attitudes is the result of social approval, socialization processes and culture. According to the authors, the applied research method should be a permanent research practice, especially in the area of social inclusion.
