Motivating people with intellectual disabilities as a form of social inclusion based on the example of Nursing Home Care ‘Jedlina’ in Mienia
Synopsis
This paper contains the most important assumptions of the process of motivating people with intellectual disabilities. The main areas of activity of Nursing Home Care ‘Jedlina’ have been described. The most frequently used methods and techniques of motivating people to take up activities and how participation in therapeutic activities affects these individuals have been characterized. The conclusions drawn from the document analysis show that stimulating to take up artistic, physical and professional activities, plays a vital role in social inclusion.
