Beauty, joy and sadness in the works of Maria Dąbrowska (based on diaries)

The article is an attempt to show the answer to the question of what beauty is in itself. Because, as Dąbrowska rightly states, we only know it's his individual manifestations, and these in life, as in literature, are often hidden in the content showing the bad and repulsive sides of reality. Dąbrowska is looking for ways to enjoy life, but this is never happens at any price. Throughout her life, she is accompanied by the joy in the beauty of the surrounding world, pleasure in small things , joy resulting from being in a sophisticated and intelligent company. Joy, however, is often accompanied by sadness and a feeling of alienation.
