Homo peregrinus or joy of “being on the road"
Synopsis
The article concerns the topic of the human traveling (homo peregrinus), being "on the road" understood metaphorically (self-knowledge, self-improvement, internal development), as well as literally (travel, tourism). In contemporary contemplation around this concept, the motif of pilgrimages (peregrinationes maiores) is particularly frequent, the theme of the journey becomes an inspiration to ask questions about the goal and reasons for taking on all kinds of difficulties.
