The collection Legacy of the Przewłocki family 1825-2020 was transferred to the resources of the State Archives in Częstochowa as part of the project: Archiwa Rodzinne Niepodległej. The collected archives, secured for years by the Przewłocki family, include documents dating back to 1825, diaries from 1907-1941, as well as contemporary sources, even from 2020. The collection includes not only file documents – there are also photographs, maps, books, and even museum exhibits. Before starting the registration work on such a diverse collection, a question arises: how should the records be prepared? Whether and how to create series in an archival ensemble? How to correctly recognize the type of documentation?
