Streszczenie
The chapter attempts to show the concept of talent management as a natural, next stage in the evolution of people management in the organization, which is a response to the challenges a rising from the variability and turbulence of the environment. The author, presenting different approaches of researchers to this phenomenon, indicates that this concept can be an effective tool to overcome negative market trends - the lack of candidates with appropriate qualifications, fluctuation processes or difficulties in attracting and persuading to work in the organization of units with high development potential. For these efforts to be truly fruitful and sustainable, it is important to integrate the implemented talent management programs with the overall business strategy and the organization's human resources management strategy. Attempts to model these efforts are included in the last part of the chapter.
