Streszczenie

On getting to know Roman Brandstaetter's novel Jesus of Nazareth one can state that there is a literary theology which can complement discursive theology, precisely because it brings it closer to the reader by means of literary language. In this paper an attempt is made to present the figure of St. Joseph in the novel, which is treated as lotus theologicus.
