Zakres uprawnień służb państwowych do przetwarzania informacji w celu zapobiegania przestępstwom i ich zwalczania na przykładzie Policji

The purpose of this article is to present normative elements concerning national law enforcement information processing, including personal data, to prevent and combat crime. Legal acts regulating information processing in activities of state services are discussed, using the Police as a case study. The author tries to underline the necessity of surveillance activities undertaken by state services in situations of largely understood threats prevention.
