Due to this, it is possible to effectively implement projects in the field of public management. Nowadays, the territorial unit management area covers issues related to broadly understood security. Thus, these issues should be an integral part of socio-economic and spatial planning as important development management instruments. Therefore, it is necessary to analyze existing solutions in this area as well as to evaluate the developed forms and methods of actions. It will allow formulating proposals useful for improving the development planning process, taking into account the existing and constantly changing conditions with regard to the shaping and implementation of security policy in the territorial system.
