Polemologiczne uwarunkowania presji migracyjnej na wschodnią granicę strefy Schengen

The movement of people within continents and regions has been always a domain of human existence. The constant search for living spaces has stimulated whole communities for thousands of years. This was based on a variety of (historically variable) factors, the aim of which, however, was always to achieve added value in the form of security and prosperity. At present, migration is perceived not only as a multi-faceted social phenomenon, but also as a measure of international security environment conditions. Through analysis of the migratory flows, their directions, intensity, and structure, one can predict the development of the situation in the inflammatory regions of the world. Migration can also become an element of hybrid warfare instruments, through attempts to generate migrants' sending factors, or to channel migration flows in appropriate directions. This forecasting is particularly important for security in the context of the functioning of the most tangible proof of European integration - the Schengen Area.
