Streszczenie

International public opinion has been watching the actions of the Russian authorities with concern for several years. Public was not particularly concerned about the assertive narrative of the Russian president in 2007 during the security conference in Munich. However, the war in Georgia has become tangible evidence of the negative change taking place on the basis of Russian foreign and security policy. The annexation of Crimea unambiguously sealed this change. The purpose of this article is to present the evolution of this policy, indicate its causes and current shape as well as potential consequences for global security.
