PROZELITYZM A METODY REKRUTACJI PAŃSTWA ISLAMSKIEGO

Although there is no specific limit, which would determine the line de-limiting teaching about someone faith, from inappropriate, aggressive proselytism, undoubtedly some of the techniques used by the Islamic State organization indicate its signs. The aim of the article is to present the implementation of the Islamic State’s policy of expansion, in which proselytism is the strategic element. Both countries and international organizations take action to prevent the proliferation of this type of methods, although in the case of asymmetric threats generated by terrorist organizations it is an extremely difficult activity. The main hypothesis of the research is the assumption that aggressive proselytism, which is one of the ways of the ideological proliferation of the Islamic State, poses a threat to interna-tional community, primarily for the countries where the percentage of the Muslim population is higher. With the expansion of the Islamic State, global community must develop effective counteroffensive methods and means of action, to prevent the spreading of this type of ideology.
