WSPÓŁDZIAŁANIE SIŁ ZBROJNYCH RZECZYPOSPOLITEJ POLSKIEJ ZE STRAŻĄ GRANICZNĄ W SYTUACJACH KRYZYSOWYCH

The article presents the problems of cooperation of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Poland with the Border Guard in crisis situations. The Armed Forces of the Republic of Poland are used in the crisis management system only in situations of particular importance, under specific legal regulations. Due to the occurrence of various threats and crisis situations, branches of the armed forces are directed to help and support the civil authorities and society and other services in order to efficiently and effectively cooperate in removing the effects of the crisis. The cooperation of the Polish Armed Forces with the Border Guard in crisis situations is necessary for the quick and effective protection of human life and health and property. An important area ofjoint activities is also the protection of Polish borders, where troops of the Armed Forces and Border Guard officers effectively cooperate in this respect. Joint actions undertaken by the Armed Forces and the Border Guard significantly contribute to strengthening and economic development of the Polish state and ensuring broadly understood security and defense of its citizens.
