Skąd przychodzi i dokąd zmierza siedlecka archiwistyka?

Archival studies as an area of specialization in history have been present for 15 years at the University of Natural Sciences and Humanities. The programme of study is typical for this specialization and aims at preparing history graduates for the profession of an archivist employed in various archival institutions and offices. The strength of the Siedlce archival studies lies in the quality of their graduates, their expertise, skills, competence that they acquire over a period of studies as well as their self-identification. Tracing the history of archival education in Siedlce urged the author on to analyse sources and a direction of development in local archival didactics.
